Commissioner Kirkland Carden in honoring Malon E.D. James for his pioneering research and growing in hydroponics.
More than ever, the Covid-19 pandemic, war and climate change has exacerbated food insecurities in urban/rural areas in the U.S. and Low to Middle Income Countries (LMIC). A research project led by Malon E.D. James has focused on hydroponics as a viable solution.

JR is a physical therapist in the Metro Atlanta area but his home is Monrovia, Liberia. He is Malon's boots on the ground for the LMIC food insecurities and safety supplies initiative for children in Africa. DCMO has partnered with non-profit, Sharing Hearts Worldwide Inc. to accomplish our support of the most vulnerable internationally.
